Each lesson begins with a short introduction to the academic topic and a guided discussion, followed by an interactive coding activity. Children create code while exploring commands, sequences, and algorithmic thinking in a clear and playful way.
No prior experience is required. The program is designed for young learners and gradually introduces coding concepts through playful activities, simple commands, and guided instruction.
Classes are led by trained instructors who follow Young Engineers guidelines and create a supportive environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and participation.
The program is built around playful coding tasks using activity cards and boards. Each card presents a task for AlgoBuddy to complete, while the board creates the world where the activity takes place. Children begin with simple commands and gradually move toward more advanced coding concepts.
Children’s progress is supported step by step as new coding concepts are introduced throughout the program. Instructors observe each child’s participation and understanding during class activities, with no homework or tests required.
Children receive a Certificate of Participation at the end of the program, celebrating their involvement and learning.
